A little something for the New Year

It’s that time again, when we vow to get thinner, fitter or better by making new year’s resolutions. The truth is, the vast majority of people fail to keep their 1 January pledges – but, by starting them in inspiring surrounds, you might be more motivated to continue

My actual resolutions for 2015 include clocking a marathon PB and regularly writing to my Grandma. However, that doesn’t make especially exciting copy, so in a little round-up for The Independent I suggest learning scuba and Spanish in Mexico, digital detoxing in middle-of-nowhere Namibia and plotting a solo adventure to Finnish Lapland. Sounds a lot more fun.
